Third Engineer

The Third Engineer is responsible for the safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operation, monitoring, and maintenance of assigned machinery and equipment under the direction of the Staff Engineer. The role involves performing engine room watchkeeping duties, conducting planned and corrective maintenance, and ensuring compliance with Company procedures and statutory requirements. The position requires maintaining accurate technical records, managing spare parts, and contributing to the overall safe operation of the vessel.
