About this role

The Welding Technical Trainer, GTAW develops and delivers a comprehensive training program to qualify welders to perform flight‑critical GTAW/TIG welding for Starship and Super Heavy vehicles. The role partners with Weld Development, Build Engineering, and Operations to translate skill requirements into practical hands‑on lessons, assessments, and curriculum. The trainer ensures students meet SpaceX quality and safety standards and supports workforce development and mentoring.
