The Tissue Recovery Coordinator (TRC) is responsible for the surgical recovery, packaging, and transport of eye tissue and other human tissues from deceased donors across the Barrie‑Huntsville region and province‑wide as needed. The role involves coordinating with the TGLN team and local healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with standards, and maintaining accurate documentation while working a rotating schedule of 24‑hour on‑call shifts.

Responsibilities

Perform surgical recovery of eye tissue from deceased individuals
Coordinate tissue recovery process and assess donor suitability
Package, transport, and ensure compliance with TGLN and Health Canada standards
