The Innovation Institute is a nonprofit that empowers people with disabilities by involving them directly in the design and fabrication of practical assistive devices that boost mobility, self‑esteem, and independence. Operating a wheelchair‑accessible fabrication shop, they employ people with disabilities to build adapted karts and other mobility solutions, offer training and community events (such as Roll a Mile), and create opportunities for participants to give back.
