About this role

The Tooling Design Specialist at Hadrian is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of tooling and fixturing for precision manufacturing and inspection processes. This role involves creating CAD-based designs, collaborating with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues, and improving tooling reliability and standardization as the company scales its autonomous manufacturing capabilities. The specialist must have hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, a strong understanding of GD&T, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support automation and process enhancements.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent1-3 years of experience in CAD-based tooling or fixture design (NX preferred)2–4 years of experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&T2–4 years of experience in a machine shop or hands-on manufacturing environmentITAR compliance: must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)
