Toolmaker

The Toolmaker at Pantex Plant is responsible for the operation of precision machine tools, including CNC equipment, to construct and repair tooling, gages, jigs, fixtures, and dies with a high degree of accuracy. This role involves interpreting sketches and detailed drawings, performing complex machining operations, and ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations. The Toolmaker must possess strong mathematical skills, maintain equipment, and adhere to federal and corporate policies related to tool-making practices. The position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a government clearance, along with a background in tool and die craftsmanship.
