Traditional Practitioner

The Traditional Practitioner provides cultural and traditional services to promote Diné principles such as respect, relationships, reverence, and responsibility within a residential program. This role involves supporting residents' adjustment, preventing unplanned discharges, and utilizing a trauma-informed care approach to facilitate traditional healing and wellness. The practitioner collaborates with clinical teams and families to coordinate care, conduct prayer ceremonies, and deliver life teachings related to health and spirituality.
