About this role

An experienced Open Pit Training Advisor will lead practical technical training, design procedures, and ensure compliance with WA legislation and Australian Standards for surface mining teams. The role involves partnering with operational leaders to identify skill gaps, coordinate external vendors for high-risk licenses, and monitor workforce training data to drive safety and operational capability.

Design and implement training procedures to lift operational capability
Coordinate RTOs and specialist vendors for high-risk licenses and first aid
Monitor and analyze workforce training records to guide development planning
Support incident investigations and contribute to safety initiatives
