Transformer Design Engineer

The Transformer Design Engineer at Socomec North America designs, develops, and validates low-voltage dry-type transformers up to multi-megawatt ratings, focusing on efficiency, performance, and manufacturability. This role involves using advanced multi-physics simulation and in-house tools to advance transformer designs from initial concept through prototyping, testing, and production implementation. The engineer remains closely involved throughout the full product lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize thermal performance, reduce losses, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
