Transition Specialist

Downer Professional Services is seeking a proactive Transition Specialist to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of capability transition activities for a major materiel program moving into sustainment within a complex Defence environment. The role involves working closely with the Transition Lead to coordinate activities across engineering, logistics, commercial, and sustainment functions while ensuring technical and operational considerations are integrated throughout the transition process. This hands-on position requires navigating Defence stakeholders, managing competing priorities, and taking ownership of assigned workstreams to achieve agreed transition milestones.
