The Trauma Acute Care Surgery Advanced Practice Professional (APP) at Munson Medical Center is a mid-level provider delivering medical management and care coordination for trauma patients within the Trauma Acute Care Surgery Service, under the supervision of the attending general surgeon. The APP works across the resuscitative, inpatient, and critical care pathways and participates in trauma performance improvement activities, including collaboration with the intensivists on the Surgical Critical Care service. The role is full-time with on-call responsibilities and variable shifts, including night coverage.
