Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights
The Troy YMCA is seeking Program Coordinators and Instructors to support teen and family programming that promotes youth development, strengthens family and community connections, and fosters belonging. These part-time roles involve developing, leading, and assisting programs while collaborating with community partners to expand accessible offerings. The positions also support RISE Grant initiatives and contribute to various areas within the Troy Branch.
The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights is a nonprofit organization and the only entity that pairs volunteer Child Advocates with interdisciplinary staff, attorneys, and social workers to accompany and advocate for unaccompanied and separated immigrant children in government custody. The organization works to protect children's best interests in immigration proceedings, fights for their right to be with family, and amplifies their voices through direct services, litigation, and systems change. It operates across multiple U.S. cities and accepts volunteers and donations to support its mission.
