About this role
The Tumor Registrar 2 at the University of Miami performs advanced coding and qualitative analysis of medical records for patients with reportable malignant or benign diseases, ensuring compliance with state and national cancer registry standards. The role abstracts prescribed data elements, enters and validates registry data, submits required reports to FCDS/NCDB and other systems, and produces analyses and customized reports to support tumor boards and quality programs. The position supports follow-up, quality control, and training activities across University of Miami Health System facilities.
