YleX:n tuottaja vastaa YleX Illan ja YleX Viikonlopun tuotannon ja ohjelman tiimin tuloksesta sekä kehityksestä, seuraa dataa, antaa palautetta ja osallistuu kanavan kehittämiseen. Työ sisältää sisällön suunnittelua, yhteistyötä toimittaja-juontajien ja muiden tuottajien kanssa sekä raportointia tuottaja‑esihenkilölle, ja se on pääsääntöisesti Pasilassa, mahdollisesti osittain etätyönä.
