An Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound imaging, primarily for breast exams, and supports radiologists during procedures. The role operates and maintains ultrasound equipment, ensures scans are correctly archived in PACS, and works under the general supervision of a supervisor in a clinical setting. Position requires completion of an accredited ultrasound program and ARDMS registration or registry eligibility.
