About this role

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a Sonographer/Ultrasound Technologist to operate scanners and produce diagnostic images of patients' bodies. This temporary, PRN role involves a patient-centered approach, performing routine and advanced sonography procedures with minimal supervision. The position requires maintaining clean work areas, following safety regulations, and accurately documenting patient records in the Radiology Information System.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and advanced sonography imaging procedures on designated body portions
Screen patients for precautions and explain imaging procedures to ensure correct patient identification
Maintain clean work areas and ensure compliance with safety regulations and accreditation requirements

Skills

Qualifications

High school diploma, or equivalentGraduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) accredited sonography program, or Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)Registered American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) sonographerSonography certification in imaging specialty (AB, BR, ObGyn, etc.)Licensed Sonographer in the appropriate state (if applicable)
