About this role
Performs intraoperative support for surgeons and first assistants by preparing instruments and supplies, assisting with sponging, suctioning, suture management, retractor holding, and endoscopic camera manipulation. Monitors operating room conditions, obtains additional equipment as needed, and helps maintain a safe, regulatory-compliant surgical environment. Provides orientation, training, and supervision to other surgical team members and participates in emergency response when necessary.
