PETA Foundation
This role involves conducting undercover investigations in various industries that use animals, including food, clothing, experimentation, and entertainment. The position requires traveling to different locations for extended periods to document conditions and illegal or cruel conduct using photography and videography. The investigator must maintain strict confidentiality, submit detailed daily logs, and cooperate with legal proceedings resulting from the investigations.
The Foundation to Support Animal Protection (FSAP), also known as the PETA Foundation, is a nonprofit established in 1993 to provide administrative, legal, accounting, creative, and technology support services to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and certain other charitable animal‑protection organizations. FSAP manages back‑office functions such as employee benefits, database management, accounting, legal services, and creative consultation so advocacy groups can focus on campaigns and outreach. PETA, the organization FSAP supports, is the world’s largest animal‑rights organization with more than 10.4 million members and supporters and campaigns against speciesism across areas including laboratories, the food industry, clothing, and entertainment through investigations, public education, rescues, legislation, and public events.
