Underwriter I

The Underwriter I supports Personal Property Underwriters and all departments interacting with underwriting by processing new business, endorsements, suspensions, and renewals. This role involves serving as the first line of contact for customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and adhering to carrier guidelines and agency service standards. Key duties include interpreting program guidelines, maintaining production standards, and completing various policy changes in accordance with established procedures.
