Underwriter

The Underwriter assists the credit union in achieving its mission by approving, denying, or counter-offering borrower applications for credit, lines of credit, consumer loans, and credit card accounts. This role involves building profitable loans, maintaining knowledge of lending policies, and supporting cross-sales by identifying qualifying products and services. The position requires adherence to service standards and regulatory compliance while providing support to the originating team.
