The Unit Assistant at UVMMC is a multi-skilled, part-time role supporting the Inpatient Psychiatry unit (Shep3/6) at the Medical Center main campus. The position combines nursing assistant and unit secretary functions and is scheduled for 20 hours per week covering day/evening 8–12 hour shifts with every-other-weekend coverage. Vermont Nursing Assistant licensure is required and a high school diploma is preferred.
