About this role

This role provides professional accountability and technical support for the patient care experience of obstetrical patients under the direction of Nursing and Medical Staff. The position involves a wide variety of duties including patient care, clerical support, surgical assistance, and operational support tasks to ensure the success of the unit. The role requires working cooperatively as part of a team to maintain calm and work efficiently through obstetrical emergencies while supporting the nursing team and patients.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care and surgical assistance for OB patients
Perform clinical procedures including phlebotomy and glucose testing
Support nursing team with patient registration and supply maintenance
