Unit Technician - Emergency Department

The Unit Technician assists with patient care under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed medical professional, providing continuous surveillance and interpretation of patient heart rhythms, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry. The role involves collaborating with nursing and consultants when patient parameters are abnormal, identifying and activating medical emergency response plans, and performing ECGs and splinting in the emergency department. This position requires a minimum of 18 years of age and completion of 12 college credits or a high school diploma with nursing assistant training, along with basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.
