Amref Health Africa is a leading African public-health NGO working to improve health across the continent by training health workers, strengthening local health systems, and delivering community-based programs. Its work focuses on maternal and child health, infectious disease prevention, water and sanitation, non-communicable diseases, and health-systems strengthening through training, research and advocacy. Amref France supports these efforts from France by mobilizing funding, raising awareness and building partnerships with European donors and civil society. The organisation emphasises local capacity building and community-led, evidence-based interventions to achieve equitable, sustainable health outcomes.
