Blockchain & Climate Institute (BCI) is a not-for-profit, volunteers-led organization that functions as a think-and-do tank, advocacy group, law firm, and chamber of commerce focused on blockchain and climate action. It seeks to raise awareness among the international climate policy community about blockchain’s potential to significantly enhance climate actions. BCI acts as a “super-connector” platform for policymakers, corporate leaders, and blockchain innovators to experiment with and adopt viable blockchain-enabled climate solutions in an enabling environment. The institute envisions widespread deployment of blockchain, AI, and IoT in climate governance and operates across jurisdictions, including England & Wales and Estonia, under registered nonprofit entities.
