Utilities (Water & Sewer)

The position supports the installation, maintenance, and repair of water distribution and sewer collection systems for the Town of Southern Pines. Employees work outdoors year‑round, operating hand tools, power equipment, and heavy machinery, while following safety protocols and responding to emergencies such as water main breaks or sewer backups. The role includes routine inspections, traffic control setup, and maintaining accurate work records.
