Utility Fleet Mechanic

The Fleet Mechanic ensures the safety, compliance, and operational readiness of utility fleet and specialty line construction equipment by diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on heavy- and medium-duty vehicles and machinery. This role supports crew productivity and safety by minimizing downtime, maintaining regulatory compliance, and responding to equipment failures during routine construction and emergency storm restoration. The position requires working from a mobile service truck and company shop, often on active right-of-way and energized job sites.
