About this role

This role involves performing semi-skilled work in the construction, renovation, and repair of wastewater collection systems, including sewage force mains, gravity sewers, and laterals. The position requires assisting skilled workers with laying sewer lines, repairing broken lines, and building manholes while collecting field data for system rehabilitation. Employees may be exposed to raw sewage and must work under adverse environmental conditions under the supervision of a Streets Maintenance/Construction Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Construct and repair wastewater collection systems including sewer lines and manholes
Operate and maintain pumping stations and conduct CCTV inspections
Collect field data for rehabilitation of inflow and infiltration sources
