About this role

The Vegetation Ecology Technician supports the City of Boulder’s Science and Climate Resilience team by conducting field-based vegetation management project support, monitoring, and research on Open Space and Mountain Parks lands. The role is primarily field-focused (75–90% of time) and offers opportunities to learn local ecosystems while collaborating with resource managers. The position emphasizes attention to detail, independent work, and teamwork in support of long-term natural resource monitoring and fuels management.
