Vehicle Mechanic I

This part-time position involves performing mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on school buses, trucks, and other gas and diesel-powered vehicles and equipment. The role requires diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical defects, operating various shop tools and diagnostic equipment, and ensuring all vehicles meet established safety and operational standards. The incumbent is also responsible for maintaining accurate work records and responding to emergency service calls as needed.
