Veteran Transition and Suicide Prevention Program Consultant

The Veteran Transition and Suicide Prevention Program Consultant coordinates, implements, and evaluates statewide veteran transition and suicide prevention initiatives for the Georgia Department of Veterans Service. The role supports the Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program, conducts trauma-informed interviews, and analyzes data to identify trends and systemic gaps. The consultant also serves as the lead coordinator for the statewide Veteran Suicide Mortality Review Board and develops prevention strategies.
