Veterans' Benefits Counselor (Supervisor)

This position supervises, assigns, trains, and coordinates the work of Veteran Benefits Counselors and support staff while performing complex duties to assist veterans and their dependents in obtaining federal and state benefits. The role involves interpreting and ensuring compliance with benefits laws, overseeing quality assurance and workload management, and providing technical advice on complex case issues. The eligible list will be used to fill full-time, part-time, limited-term, or extra-help positions as vacancies occur throughout the county.
