VEG offers an immersive, hands-on student externship for veterinary technician/nursing students to experience emergency veterinary medicine in a 24/7 hospital setting. Externs work alongside credentialed emergency veterinary technicians to explore ER workflows and build foundational clinical exposure. The program is designed to help students evaluate emergency medicine as a future career path while being supported through mentorship.
