VEG offers a hands-on Veterinary Technician Student Externship Program designed for current veterinary technician/nursing students to experience emergency veterinary medicine in a 24/7 hospital environment. Externs are immersed in the day-to-day ER setting alongside credentialed veterinary technicians with individualized mentorship. The program is flexible in length and location based on school requirements and hospital availability, and it is an unpaid opportunity.
