VEG’s Veterinary Technician Student Externship offers a hands-on, immersive experience in emergency veterinary medicine alongside credentialed emergency veterinary technicians. Students actively participate in triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, inpatient care, and other ER workflows to build proficiency and explore a career in emergency medicine. The program is flexible in length and location and is an unpaid externship designed to fulfill school externship requirements.
