About this role

Vice President, Trade Credit at HUB International supports the growth and servicing of its Trade Credit practice in Ontario, providing technical expertise and business development for trade credit insurance and political risk solutions.

Responsibilities

Support the placement and service of domestic and export trade credit insurance programs.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, lenders, and internal stakeholders.
Partner with producers and commercial teams to identify and support new business opportunities.
Advise clients on trade credit risk mitigation strategies, policy structures, and market conditions.
Assist with policy negotiations, renewals, and coverage analysis.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in trade credit insurance in a broking or underwriting capacityStrong understanding of trade credit insurance products, underwriting principles, and policy structuresExisting relationships within the Canadian trade credit insurance marketExperience supporting middle-market and large commercial clientsProven relationship management and business development capabilities
