About this role

A senior technical leadership role responsible for owning the private equity data platform end-to-end, including architecture, delivery, reliability, and adoption at HarbourVest. The Vice President combines hands-on expertise in modern data stacks with the ability to mentor teams and drive investment decision-making through scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities

Own and evolve production-grade cloud-based data platforms supporting deal sourcing and analytics
Lead architecture and design decisions across modern data stacks including Snowflake and Azure
Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing data engineering organization
Ensure data quality, integrity, and observability across critical pipelines and datasets
Drive multi-functional delivery by translating business needs into trusted data products
