The Hindu American Foundation (HAF) is a nonprofit education and advocacy organization for the Hindu American community, founded in 2003. HAF works on issues ranging from the accurate portrayal of Hinduism in K-12 textbooks to civil and human rights, applying Hindu philosophy to address contemporary challenges such as environmental protection and inter-religious conflict. The organization provides educational resources, community support, and advocacy tools to advance understanding of Hindu Dharma traditions and secure the rights of Hindu Americans.
