Virtual Classroom Instructional Facilitator

The Virtual Classroom Instructional Facilitator ensures that students receiving live instruction from a remote teacher experience a safe, orderly, engaging, and academically supportive classroom. Serving as the virtual teacher's physical classroom partner, the assistant maintains active engagement with students throughout the class period by managing the learning environment, monitoring participation and understanding, and reinforcing teacher-directed instruction. The assistant plays an essential role in translating virtual instruction into effective in-classroom learning, while the virtual teacher remains the teacher of record and retains primary responsibility for instructional planning, teaching, assessment, grading, and academic decisions.
