Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinator interviews, places, trains, and supervises volunteers across multiple KU affiliated sites, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with health system policies. The role involves planning volunteer orientations, implementing recognition events, and utilizing the Galaxy Digital database to track volunteer hours and status. This position supports the emotional and psychosocial needs of patients and families by developing creative volunteer programs and maintaining compliance with Joint Commission and HIPAA regulations.
