VP, Controllership – SOX & Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance Leader

About this role
Leadership role responsible for Synchrony’s Sarbanes-Oxley (Section 404) compliance program and Regulatory Reporting Quality Assurance (RRQA). The position provides strategic oversight of SOX scoping, testing, deficiency remediation, and reporting, and delivers independent review of regulatory reporting accuracy and completeness. This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role supervising a team of nine and collaborating with Controllership, Internal Audit, external audit, Finance, Technology & Operations, and senior leadership.
