About this role
Avantus seeks a VP of Design and Cost Engineering to lead the HV Engineering, Development Engineering and Estimating teams, derisking the development pipeline and maximizing project value through technical and costing leadership. The role oversees design and cost engineering across the full development lifecycle, spanning HV gen-tie, substation, PV, and BESS design. It is highly cross-functional, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants, and reports to the EVP of Engineering and Construction.
