VP Medicinal Chemistry - Biopharma

The VP Medicinal Chemistry at AstraZeneca will define long-term vision and strategy for chemistry and molecule discovery, contributing to disease area strategies and leading the evolution of medicinal chemistry capability. The role oversees a large global department and external partnerships to deliver novel small-molecule modalities including PROTACs and molecular glues and to integrate Artificial Intelligence methods into discovery workflows. The position represents the chemistry capability internally and externally, initiating collaborations and driving scientific innovation and visibility.
