A Warehouse Automation SME manages and executes comprehensive maintenance programs for autonomous vehicle systems (AGVs/LGVs) within a highly automated distribution center. The role involves overseeing hourly maintenance staff, ensuring equipment uptime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives for automation and facilities. This position requires deep technical expertise in electrical and mechanical systems alongside strong leadership skills to optimize site performance.

Responsibilities

Manage and execute comprehensive maintenance programs for automation systems
Oversee hourly maintenance employees and drive team performance
Monitor AGV software platforms and integrations for optimized traffic
Conduct root cause analysis on recurring faults and systemic issues
Lead calibration and alignment of AGV systems including LIDAR and sensors

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field (Preferred)3+ years in maintenance management experience supervising others5+ years in automation/mechanical maintenanceAdvanced knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipmentExperience with CMMS for spare parts and PM schedules
