protectourwinters.org

Protect Our Winters (POW) is a nonprofit outdoor movement that mobilizes passionate recreationists to protect the lands and winters they love by fighting climate change. POW focuses on non‑partisan policy advocacy, community organizing, and public education to advance science‑based climate solutions at local, state, and federal levels. They partner with athletes, outdoor businesses, and grassroots volunteers to drive campaigns, influence legislation, and build public support. POW’s goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and safeguard resilient public lands and recreation economies for current and future generations.
