Water Plant Operator

This position provides operational oversight and management of systems and equipment at a Class A Lake Michigan water intake and treatment plant. The role involves operating water management systems using SCADA, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring the continuous production of potable water in compliance with AWWA and USEPA standards. The incumbent is responsible for monitoring water quality, performing maintenance tasks, and addressing operational deficiencies to maintain plant integrity.
