The Weapons Systems Analyst is a forward-deployed acquisition expert embedded with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports and Cooperation supporting the International Acquisition Directorate. The role serves as a recognized technical authority on international acquisition and weapon systems, focusing on Foreign Military Sales and early exportability integration in the acquisition lifecycle. The analyst leverages prior PEO or program office experience to inform RDT&E and acquisition management while supporting strategic planning and partner engagement.
