Webber- Tunnel Operator (Part-Time) - Infrastructure Management

The Tunnel Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of traffic flow through roadways and tunnels, including managing complex tunnel safety systems and responding to incidents and emergencies from the Tunnel Control Centers. This role involves coordinating incident detection, assessment, and verification, as well as communicating real-time traffic information to the Traffic Management Center and emergency agencies. The position requires monitoring the tunnel for hazards, participating in emergency drills, and maintaining an expert knowledge of tunnel control systems.
