Weld Tooling Design Engineer (ES3)

This role supports the NASA EM32 Welding and Manufacturing team by developing and maintaining fixture, jig, and tooling design concepts for aerospace manufacturing operations. The engineer will define fixture structures, ensure proper part alignment, control thermal characteristics, and create lifting device strategies to support both development and production requirements. Candidates will collaborate with the NASA MSFC Engineering Directorate to solve specialized tooling problems and mentor junior staff on technical drawings and procedures.
