Welder 2nd Class

This entry-level position involves performing semi-skilled work in the inspection, repair, rebuilding, and assembly of critical power plant components such as turbines, fans, valves, and pumps. The role requires proficiency in various welding techniques, including manual metal arc, TIG, gas metal arc, and oxyacetylene welding, as well as supporting equipment maintenance and stress relieving processes. The incumbent will work at the Central Machine Shop or other temporary assignments while adhering to strict safety regulations and shop practices.
